Ho meethi meethi si yeh muniya
Sar pe daale hai yeh chuniya
Kyun
Haan kyun
Ho sohni sohni si kudi nu
Mauj mein rehne de na duniya
Kyun
Haan duniya kyun
Hai kinni shaandar kudi yeh kar degi dhamaal
Ise jhoomne de apni beat te
Kudi nu nachne de
Haan nachne de
Tu aaj lagane de thumke
Haan jam ke
Kudi nu nachne de
Haan nachne de
Tu saareyan fikran nu chhad ke
Ban than ke
Kudi nu nachne de, nachne de
Haan nachne de, nachne de
Tu aaj lagane de thumke
Haan jam ke
Kudi nu nachne de
Haan nachne de
Tu saareyan fikran nu chhad ke
Ban than ke
Kudi nu nachne de
This song sung by VISHAL DADLANI, enlighten the real state of women.
Hathras, Balrampur, Delhi....you can go on mentioning rape cases in everyday life. I think it has been a mandate that in the newspaper if there's no rape news it will not get printed....
According to the people who have a better understanding about "LAW" see law for rape as one if the strictest laws! As we started with rape cases lets see some of them:-
On September 14, 2020, a 19-year-old Dalit girl goes to work in the fields, close to her home, in the Hathras district of western Uttar Pradesh. She lived with her family across the street from their upper caste Thakur neighbours in this bustling town, that is 200 kilometres from Delhi.
The 22-year-old woman was allegedly raped by two men on September 29 in Gesadi village of Balrampur. Both the accused have been arrested. The FIR registered on the basis of a complaint registered by the woman’s family says she was missing for the whole day and returned home in an e-rickshaw in a semi-conscious state. She died on the way to a hospital in Lucknow.
On the dark and cold night of December 16, 2012, a 23-year-old woman was brutally assaulted and raped in a moving bus in south Delhi. A23-year-old female physiotherapy intern was beaten, gang-raped, and tortured on December 16, 2012, in Munirka, a neighbourhood in South Delhi
We can go on and on ...mentioning such shameful deeds that led all of us to introspect about - women's safety. Blaming things on girl is not the solution. Mostly people would not agree with me , because of the male dominated mindset of people, but the truth is we have to educate our "boys". We need to educate our boys that its our RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE EACH AND EVERY GIRL FEEL COMFORTABLE.
My advice to girls would be in the words of PUSHYAMITR UPADHYAY ;
I would want every girl to be self reliant for their safety. They should not wait for any male for help, they themselves are very strong and can fight the situation even better than men.
Again I'm reminded of the song; KUDI NU NACHNE DE!!
The question still remains the samec ;- why are we not letting women live freely and safely on their trems?! The answer to this question is in your own hands.
Ho waddi waddi baat teri
Chhoti chhoti soch kuyn ae ji
Oho paa ji
Ho ukhde ukhde kyun khade ji
Hans do to hans degi duniya bhi
Haan haan haan ji
Ho aaye jo on the floor kudi to
Khoob machaye shor
Tu bhi jhoom lena iski beat pe
Kudi nu nachne de
Haan nachne de
Tu aaj lagane de thumke
Haan jam ke
Kudi nu nachne de
Haan nachne de
Tu saareyan fikran nu chhad ke
Ban than ke
Kudi nu nachne de, nachne de
Haan nachne de, nachne de
Tu aaj lagane de thumke
Haan jam ke
We have to make a safer world for each and every women, let's join hands for this and provide women's a safer and comfortable environment to live.
Kudi nu nachne de, nachne de
Nachne de, nachne de
Tu saareyan fikran nu chhad ke
Ban than ke
Kudi nu nachne de
Kudi nu nachne de
